What services do you offer?
We currently only offer weekly and biweekly recurring maintenance cleans for homes and offices.
Do you run background checks on your employees?
Yes! All employees have nationwide background checks.
Are you bonded and insured?
Yes! We are bonded and insured for your piece of mind.
Do you have a guarantee on your work?
Yes! We have a 24-hour guarantee on our work. If you find something unsatisfactory just let us know within 24 hours of your clean and we will come reclean that area at no extra charge within 2 business days. (Due to the personal nature of cleaning, we do not offer refunds.)
Are there any contracts to sign?
There is no commitment to sign up for recurring services with us! We believe in earning your business with each visit. We do have a Service Agreement which you can find here on our website under Service Agreement

Do I have to be home during my first clean?
We ask that customers be home for the first clean to show us around, point out priorities, introduce us to any fur babies that might live in the home, etc. After that it's totally up to you and what you are comfortable with.
Do you clean on the weekends?
Maid Time is a family friendly workplace. We take weekends off to spend with our families. However, we will clean on some weekends.
Why is there no set time for cleaning appointments?
Typically, unless you are the first cleaning of the day, you will have a 2-hour arrival window. Sometimes it is hard to determine how long a prior job is going to take. We always want to give every home the attention it needs and to finish a job to the customers complete satisfaction. Other factors like traffic or weather could delay our arrival. For your convenience we send out a text message when your maids are on the way.
How soon can I have my house cleaned?
In most cases within 2 or 3 days. For larger jobs it might take longer. Please call our office for availability.
I don't see the availability I need when trying to book online.
Please call our office. Our office staff will be able to better help you. We might still be able to get you in on the day and time of your choosing.
What forms of payment do you accept?
For your convenience, we accept credit/debit cards.
Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
The first cleaning is always by the hour. If you would like to set up recurring cleanings, we can give you a flat rate pricing after we have cleaned your home.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Only first time cleans and customers who call as needed will need to pay a non-refundable deposit to book an appointment. Recurring customers are required to keep a card on file for services. Your card will be charged on the day of the cleaning. All deposits go towards the total costs of the clean.
Can I tip my cleaning Pro?
Absolutely! Tips are not required but are always appreciated! Please leave tips in the form of cash on the day of the clean and clearly mark it as a tip for your cleaning Pro. You may also leave a tip on your credit or debit card. Our maids get to keep 100% of their tips.
Do I need to supply any cleaning products?
Maid Time supplies all cleaning detergents and fresh clean microfiber towels on every visit. However, we ask that the customer please provide the toilet brush.
Do you do laundry or dishes?
At this time Maid Time does not offer dishes or laundry services.
Do you clean windows?
Yes, upon request we can clean the windows on front screen door and sliding glass door only.
Window cleaning is a whole different industry and requires separate training, licensing, insurance, and pricing generally higher than what you will pay for house cleaning. We'd rather focus on what we're good at (house cleaning).
Do you do organizing?
Maid Time does not currently offer organizing.
Do you do pet sitting or walking?
While our house cleaning team is pet friendly, they do NOT handle or walk any pets.
Can my pet be home during cleaning?
We pride ourselves on being pet friendly. However, there may be certain circumstances when we ask pets to be crated or put away during cleaning. This is on a case-by-case basis.
What extra services do you offer?
We have additional services that can be added to your first cleaning or recurring service with a timely request. These can include: the cleaning of blinds, baseboards, interior of oven, and refrigerator.
Do you clean outside areas like garages, porches, hot tubs?
Maid Time does not currently offer these services.
Can you clean or remove mold?
Removing mold can be a hazardous task for our house cleaning staff. Under certain circumstances we can try cleaning mold on bathroom grout but cannot guarantee it's removal. Often times this requires a specialist assessment and treatment.
Will I always have the same team?
We make every effort to send the same team, so you get to know each other. However, due to illness, vacation, and other reasons beyond our control, we may need to send new people.
How many people are in a team?
Most cleans will have a team of 1-3 people. However, if there is a call-in there will be less people. Larger homes and homes that require more time may have a larger team.
Do you move furniture?
For the safety of our teams and the safety of your home, we do not move furniture or appliances.
Do you offer trash removal?
We do not offer trash removal. Homes will need to be emptied of all trash before your scheduled appointment.
Do you clean carpets?
No. We only vacuum carpets. We do not use shampoo to wash carpets.
Do you clean walls?
We do not do top to bottom wall cleaning. We do however clean doors and door frames if it has latex paint on them.
Do you clean basements?
We will clean a finished basement. We do not clean unfinished basements. Additionally, we only mop basement floors that have a smooth finish.
Are you open on holidays?
Maid Time is closed for all major holidays. Including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Independence Day, and Labor Day. All other days are business as usual.
What happens if you cannot make it to my cleaning?
There is on rare occasions times we will have to delay or reschedule your cleaning. This may be due to inclement weather, holidays, or call-ins. However, we make every attempt to get your home cleaned on its schedule day or the day after.
Can I cancel or reschedule my cleaning?
We understand that an unforeseen event may occur that which may create a need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning appointment. Any gaps in regular service MAY increase your rate if additional time is needed to bring your home back to maintenance level.
Do I need to prepare my home before you arrive?
There is no requirement to "prepare" your home but is often very helpful to clear the clutter off floors and kitchen counter/sink. This will help the team work more efficiently, and it will save you money as it will take the crew less time to clean your home.
Do you clean commercial properties?
Commercial cleaning is not our main focus. However, we are able to do small offices and or retail space.
